Hire me.

After 7 years as an event planner at an amazing nonprofit, I was laid off last week. It’s been a bit of a shock but I have an amazing support system and am discovering the incredible connections I have through The Internets. 

I am happily sending around my resume with hopes that my awesome network can help me land on my feet. Any leads in event planning/production (profit or nonprofit), marketing or PR are appreciated.

In the meantime, any suggestions on how to deal with all the emotions and learning how to relax? These are new feelings :)
