I can’t stop reading this site.  Slightly morose as I prepare to travel to Baltimore this weekend to visit my aunt, who was recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.

As is our tradition, we will eat larb (a Thai meat salad — yes! a meat salad!), play Scrabble and make awful and awesome puns.

I’ve been in a bad mood all day, and I’m pretty sure it’s because I’m terrified to see her.  I fear that I won’t be able to stay strong.  I haven’t seen her since she started chemo.
