Weekend Review
- Caught up on Top Chef, 30 Rock and HIMYM.
- Attended a 2.5 hour drunk brunch. It was epic.
- Drunk grocery shopped. Bumped into another woman who was, also, clearly intoxicated. Awkward.
- Rode the bus with a crazy man rapping, “Push, push in the bush.” Ah, public transit.
- Purchased expensive eyewear that cost so much, it should have come with an invite to the champagne room.
- Partied at The Whitest Bar Ever, where my friends and I played games like ”Broad, Sweeping Generalizations About All The Whities In the Room” (have college degrees, visited Europe, partied in Murray Hill, owned at least 5 DMB albums and have seen him in concert at least twice) and “iTunes Singles These Honkies Surely Own” (“American Pie,” “Crash Into Me,” “One Love,” “Pour Some Sugar on Me,” “Let’s Get It On” and “Jesse’s Girl”).
- Paid $7 for a Magic Hat pint. Well, many pints.
- Made a decent beef stew that needs some work. (more wine, more flour)
- Bought ingredients to make my own raw bars.
- Ogled Chris Daughtry on the American Music Awards. As I say about most men, I like him when his mouth isn’t moving.
