This lovely illustration by Victor Kerlow accompanies Vanishing New York blogger Jeremiah Moss’s piece in the New York Times, on the search for the (urban) legendary “Nighthawks” diner of Edward Hopper’s mind.
I’ve worked in West Village for nearly 5 years, and the location of this supposed diner has crossed my mind many times.

Fish and chips for lunch from A Salt & Battery. OMG.
To answer Marcia’s question, I could only eat a small amount (fried food is hell, welcome to your 30s) but it tasted a lot better with loads of salt!
